Dr. Kat Bigham

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Kat Bigham grew up in the mountains of Tennessee, where she developed a deep love for animals while taking care of them. This passion for nurturing and care, combined with a love for science, led her to a career in medicine. She pursued her undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA, where she majored in biological sciences.
Her path continued at the Dental College of Georgia, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. It was during this time that she found her calling in pediatric dentistry, recognizing the unique opportunity it offers to not only improve health but also to make a positive and lasting impact on children’s lives in a way that is both helpful and enjoyable.
She then completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry with the University of Pittsburgh. She and her husband fell in love with the city and decided to make it their home, drawn to the beautiful scenery, including the rivers and surrounding landscapes. She shares her Pittsburgh home with her husband, their two cats, and her pet axolotl, Barry.
Dr. Bigham is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and Pennsylvania Dental Association. She enjoys walking through the city, working on her aquariums and spending time with her friends!
